HoR meeting postponed for Friday after ministers abstain

The meeting of House of Representatives (HoR) has been postponed without entering into its businesses.

The HoR meeting was postponed for Friday after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and other ministers abstained from the meeting.

After Prime Minister Prachanda and other ministers did not show up in the meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire postponed the meeting for Friday 11 am in accordance with the Rule 6 (5) of the HoR Regulations, 2079.

“The meeting has been postponed for Friday 11 am in line with the Rule 6 (5) of the HoR Regulations, 2079 that makes the presence of the ministers mandatory in the meeting of the House of Representatives.  

Annual reports were scheduled to be presented in the meeting of House of Representatives (HoR) today.
