United States Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson called on Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal on Wednesday.
During the meeting held at the CPN (US) headquarters, Meenbhawan, matters pertaining to Nepal-United States bilateral relations were discussed, according to Chairman Nepal's secretariat.
Nepal, who is also the former prime minister, extended best wishes to the US ambassador for his successful tenure.
