Two workers killed in clay mound collapse in Mustang

Two persons were killed after being buried by a mound of earth in Mustang on Friday.

The incident occurred as they were digging out a drainpipe of a monastery at Gharapjhong Rural Municipality-5.

The deceased have been identified as Hom Bahadur Budhathoki, 23, from Lalbandi Municipality-15 in Sarlahi, and Rabi Darlami, 23, from Gadawa Rural Municipality-1 in Dang, according to District Police Office, Mustang's Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bhojraj Pandey. The bodies were retrieved with the help of Nepal Police and the locals.
