Price of gold and silver goes down

The price of gold and silver has gone down today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,400 and that of silver by Rs 55 per tola.

With the reduction in price of the yellow precious metal, the hallmark gold is being sold for Rs 145,000 while the price of worked gold is set for Rs 144,300 per tola.

Similarly, the silver is being sold for Rs 1,750 per tola.

The hallmark gold was sold for Rs 147,400, worked gold for Rs 146,700 and silver was sold for Rs 1,805 on Wednesday.

Likewise, the gold is being sold for US $2,374 and silver for US $27 per ounce in the international market, news agencies have reported.
