The Secretariat meeting of the CPN (UML) is taking place today to pick proportional representation (PR) lawmakers.
The UML has won 44 first-past-the-post (FPTP) seats in the House of Representatives and 34 PR seats.
UML Deputy Chief of Publicity Department Bishnu Rijal said the Secretariat meeting would convene at 1 pm at Chairman KP Sharma Oli's residence in Balkot, Bhaktapur.
According to him, the meeting will dewll on contemporary political issues, including selection of PR lawmakers and election review.
The Election Commission had directed the parties on Wednesday to submit the list of PR lawmakers.
