Gold soars to record Rs 150,800 per tola

The price of gold has hit an all-time high with an increment of Rs 2,100 per tola today.

With the increment, the price of the hallmark gold has reached Rs 150,800 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA).

The price of hallmark was Rs 148,700 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 25 per tola today. With this, the silver is being sold for Rs 1740 per tola. It was traded for Rs 1715 yesterday.

The gold is being for US$ 2,460 and silver for US$ 27.66 per ounce in the international market, new agencies have said.
