Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, who is currently on a five-day visit to India, has met with her Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar.
Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar has said he is going to hold a bilateral meeting with visiting Minister Arzu Rana Deuba.
Welcoming his Nepali counterpart Rana on her first visit to India as the Foreign Minister, Minister Jaishankar mentioned on X, “Looking forward to our talks.”

This is the first high-level visit to India from Nepal following the formation of the government led by KP Sharma Oli.
After holding bilateral talks with Minister Jaishankar, Minister Rana will pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi this evening.
Rana flew to India on Sunday at the invitation of Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. She was welcomed by Acting Nepali Ambassador to India Surendra Thapa and the head of the Northern Division at the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Anurag Srivastava upon her landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Acting Ambassador Thapa hosted a dinner reception in honor of Rana on Sunday night. After attending the dinner reception, Minister Rana went to Hotel Sheraton in Saket where she will be staying for four nights.
She will undergo a health checkup on Tuesday and return home on August 22, wrapping up her five-day visit to India.
