NC Prez Deuba, leader Koirala hold meeting ahead of CWC meet

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba and leader Shekhar Koirala have held a meeting on Friday evening at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar.

The two leaders met before the party Central Working Committee (CWC) meet scheduled for Saturday.

Earlier today, the NC, which called a CWC meeting for 1 pm on Saturday, preponed it to 9:30 am.

Saturday is the last day to submit the list of proportional representation (PR) lawmakers to the Election Commission and the NC is holding CWC meeting to finalize the same.

Other political parties have also called meetings today to finalize the list of PR lawmakers.

The NC CWC meeting is underway at party office in Sanepa.

The CWC meeting was preponed after Prime Minister Deuba had to participate in the program organized on the occasion of Human Rights Day.

The program of the Human Rights Commission is being held at 2:30 pm.
