With the monsoon getting active across the country, rain is occurring in various parts of the country. The monsoon in Nepal is compounded by the low-pressure system developed in the north-central part of the Maharashtra State of India.
Currently, the weather is generally to fully cloudy across the country with light to moderate rains occurring amidst thunderstorms, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said.
Similarly, the weather will remain generally to fully cloudy across the country today with chances of light to moderate rains in a few places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini and some places of the rest of the provinces.
There is a possibility of winds in some places of the Terai region.
Likewise, the weather will remain generally to fully cloudy across the country tonight with chances of light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning in a few places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim and in some places of the rest of the provinces, according to a weather bulletin issued by the Department at 6 am today.
