Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned to Nepal wrapping up his 10-day official visit to New York.
He landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 4:30 pm.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh among other government officials reached the TIA to receive Prime Minister Oli.
He boarded a flight from Boston, Massachusetts, for Doha, Qatar, before arriving in Kathmandu.
He had on September 20 left for New York to participate in the 79th United Nations General Assembly. He addressed UNGA on September 26, focusing on the theme, "Leaving no one behind: acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations."
During his New York visit, he held meetings with different world leaders including UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and American President Joe Biden.
Prime Minister's spouse Radhika Shakya, Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, Prime Minister's Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal among other high-ranking government officials had accompanied Oli during his US visit.
