The Loktrantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) has decided to join the five-party led coalition government.
LSP leader Keshav Jha said a meeting of LSP office bearers held in Kathmandu on Tuesday decided to this effect.
"A meeting of office bearers of the LSP held in Kathmandu today after the new public mandate decided to participate in the government," Jha said.
The LSP joined the government after the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) pulled out of the government before the elections.
Jha said the party decided to support the coalition government as it had forged electoral coordination with the ruling parties in some constituencies of Madhesh Province.
He added that the Executive Committee of the party would also endorse the decision of party office bearers.
The LSP has yet to conclude review of the elections. The Executive Committee is to carry out review of the elections.
The LSP Executive Committee is set to be held after the Election Commission announces all the election results.
The party won four seats in the House of Representatives in the November 20 elections but failed to get the status of a national party.
