India and Nepal will commence a battalion level military training exercise in Rupandehi's Saljhandi on Friday.
The 16th India-Nepal military training exercise 'Surya Kiran' will last for 15 days.

"This is a routine military exercise between the two armies," Silwal told Nepalkhabar.

During the exercise, an Infantry Battalion each from the Indian Army and the Nepali Army held a training together to develop inter-operability and shared their experience of counter terrorism operations and disaster relief operations.
