Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Dhanraj Gurung has said that internal discussions are taking place in the party for the election of NC parliamentary party (PP) leader.
The issue is not finalized yet though the leaders have expressed their desire for the PP leader.
Inaugurating the 4th general convention of Construction and Allied Workers Union of Nepal (CAWUN) in Butwal on Saturday, Gurung said agendas should be given priority in the election of PP leader instead of an individual.
“Easier it is to claim the premiership but difficult it is to perform. Destination is obviously reachable by carrying agendas,” Gurung added.
He also asked the leaders to get ready for the probe into their property details.
In the inaugural session, Chairman of Nepal Trade Union Congress Pushkar Acharya, former chairman Khilanath Dahal, Mayor of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City Khelraj Pandey, Mayor of Tilottam Municipality Ram Krishna Khand and others extended their best wishes for the success of the general convention.
The convention will continue till Sunday and is scheduled to elect its new leadership.
