The CPN (United Socialist) Party is to elect its leader of the parliamentary party (PP) today.
The party, which has won just 10 first-past-the-post (FPTP) seats in the House of Representatives, is convening a meeting at 1 pm to elect PP leader.
It party is most certainly electing party Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal as the PP leader.
The party will receive the facility of chief whip as it won 10 FPTP seats despite it not being able to cross the three percent threshold on the proportional representation side.
