The Ministry of Finance has formed the budget drafting committee to draft the annual budget for the fiscal year 2082/083 BS.
Chief of Budget Division of the Ministry, Shreekrishna Nepal, is the coordinator of the drafting committee comprising Foreign Assistance Division Chief Dhaniram Sharma, Revenue Division Chief Uttar Kumar Khatri, Administration Division Chief Than Prasad Pangeni, Inland Revenue Department Deputy Director General Tirtha Chiluwal and Assistant Comptroller General Sushila Aryal as the members, according to the Finance Ministry,
The committee shall determine the principle and priorities of the budget, facilitate the prioritization of ministry-level projects, prepare the draft of the budget speech and offer suggestions on policies and programs, coordinator Nepal shared.
Likewise, the Finance Ministry has provided the maximum limit of the fiscal transfer to the province and local levels received from the National Planning Commission.
The Ministry has also shared the cap for the fiscal equalization grant to the National Natural and Fiscal Commission.
