“We are preparing to administer the oath of office and secrecy in New Baneshwar at 1 pm on coming Thursday,” Dr. Roj Nath Pandey, the spokesperson of the Parliament Secretariat, told Nepalkhabar.

A total of 275 new members elected to the House of Representatives (HoR) in the general elections on November 20 will be administered in the Federal Parliament Building.

Issuing a seven-day deadline on Sunday, President Bidya Devi Bhandari called on the parities to stake their claim for the post of the Prime Minister by December 25.

The age of Chitra Bahadur KC, Mahantha Thakur, Mahendra Prasad Yadav and Pashupati Shamsher Rana among those elected as lawmakers is yet to be determined.
