In pics: EC holds tea-reception to wrap up polls

The Election Commission (EC) has organized a tea-reception to mark the completion of the House of Representatives and Province Assembly elections in Kathmandu on Monday.

Held on the premises of the Office of the Election Commission at Kantipath, high ranking officials including President Bidya Bhandari attended the reception.

Aside from Bhandari, participating in the ceremony were Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki among others.

The EC has already submitted the election report to the President and the Prime Minister.

Nepali Congress emerged as the largest party followed by CPN (UML) in the twin elections held on November 20.
