NEPSE down 25.16 points, records turnover of Rs 11 billion

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has taken a nose dive on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The bench index, which went up by 13.62 points on Tuesday, has plummeted by 25.16 points to settle at 2821.13 points today.

NEPSE witnessed a trading volume of 203.3 million units of shares generating a turnover of Rs 10.970 billion.

While the share value of 62 companies increased, 174 companies witnessed a decline that of eight ones remained unchanged.

After several days of consecutive negative circuits, Samaj Lagubiitta witnessed a positive circuit today.

Guardian Micro Life experienced a continued positive circuit, Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta's share value went up by 9.95 percent, while that of Mountain Hydro Nepal and Gurans Laghubitta increased by 8.82 and 7.42 percent, respectively.
