Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and General Secretary Gagan Thapa have filed their nominations for the elections of the Parliamentary Party (PP) leader.
Both Deuba and Thapa registered their nominations simultaneously at the PP Office in Singha Durbar this afternoon.
Thapa has been proposed by NC senior leader Shekhar Koirala and seconded by Vice President Dhan Raj Gurung and General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma.
Similarly, Deuba has been proposed by leader Ram Chandra Poudel while his candidacy has been seconded by Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka.
The NC PP election is scheduled to be held from 8 am tomorrow (Wednesday).
