Chairman of the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP), Mahantha Thakur, has been elected as the parliamentary party (PP) leader.
A meeting of the LSP parliamentary party convened today unanimously elected Thakur as its leader, said party executive member Keshav Kumar Jha.
LSP, which allied with the ruling coalition in the run-up to the elections, won four seats under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) category in the elections on November 20.
