Deputy Inspector General of Nepal Police (DIG) Siddhi Bikram Shah has been recommended for the post of Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Nepal Police.
He was recommended by the recommendation committee meeting held on Tuesday.
Shah has been recommended for the post a week before incumbent AIG Lalmani Acharya will retire on the ground of age on May 25, according to a source at the Home Ministry of Home Affairs.
Shah is currently the head of the Nepal Police Special Bureau.
