Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal (JSP-N) has withdrawn its support to the Lumbini Province government. Party Chairman Upendra Yadav informed that JSP-N withdrew its support to the government on Friday.
"We were not part of the government but had been offering support. We are withdrawing that support starting today," said Yadav.
Lumbini Province Assembly member Ambika Kafle met with Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya this afternoon and submitted a letter withdrawing the support on behalf of the party. Kafle is a lone JSP lawmaker in Lumbini Province.
The JSP-N is making preparations to withdraw its support to the central government, as well.
A meeting of the Central Work Execution Committee decided to withdraw its support to the central government and has directed its parliamentary party to do the needful, accordingly.
Yadav said the parliamentary party will hold a meeting in a few days and take a decision regarding this.
