CPN (Maoist Center) lawmaker Sudan Kirati has said that airlines services are the country's diplomacy and image.

Expressing his views at a meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee on Friday, Kirati said, the failure to remove Nepal from EU's ban has sent negative messages to international community. The discussions on the Civil Aviation Authority Bill, 2081 is important for the effective air services and development, he said.

"The airlines services is the diplomacy and the image of the country," said Kirati, "Twelve years have passed by but the Bill has not yet been finalized. Nepal has been blacklisted, impacting Nepal Airlines Corporation the most.

It has tarnished the image of Nepal at the international arena," said Kirati.
