Newly appointed Prime Minister Prachanda to take oath of office today

Newly appointed Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will take the oath of office and secrecy today before President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

According to the President's Office, the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed PM will be held at 4 pm today (Monday).

According to President Bhandari's Private Secretary Dr. Bheshraj Adhikari, new ministers along with the newly appointed Prime Minister are scheduled to take oath today.

The newly appointed Prime Minister Prachanda, who is also the chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), has the support of 169 members of the House of Representatives.

It is said that some members of the Council of Ministers will also take the oath of office and secrecy on Monday.
