RSP lays claim to Home and Physical Infrastructure ministries

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is participating in the Prachanda-led cabinet under the leadership of party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane.

According to sources, the RSP is claiming for the portfolios of the Home Ministry and the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport.

The allocation of the ministerial portfolios will be made public once the meeting of the ruling alliance concludes.

The meeting is taking place at the federal parliament building in New Baleshwar.

“I am heading to New Baneshwar to attend the ruling alliance meeting. The allocation of ministerial portfolios will be unveiled once the meeting is over,” said Lamichhane.

He said the party will nominate ministers following the allocation of portfolios by the meeting.

The RSP which came into being in the run-up to the general elections has emerged as the fourth largest party with 20 seats.
