The Nepali Congress (NC) has called a meeting of its Central Working Committee (CWC) for January 6, 2023.

The NC called its CWC meet at 1 pm on January 6.

NC central office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel said there are three agendas fixed for the meeting.

According to Poudel, the agendas include review of the recently concluded parliamentary elections, matters pertaining to contemporary politics and others.

NC leaders had been demanding a CWC meet to dicuss contemporary politics following the recent collapse of the party-led coalition.

Party leaders are giving NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba a tough time after CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' allied with the CPN (UML) by breaking the NC-led alliance on Sunday.

The party president is blamed for the party's recent decisions and in this view, the CWC meet will review and formulate future strategy.
