Entrepreneur Binaya Upadhyaya has been appointed as Uganda's Honorary Consul to Nepal.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially handed over an appointment letter to Upadhyaya on Wednesday.
He is actively involved in real estate and tourism sectors. Known for his visionary approach to trade and international partnerships, Upadhyaya has been making a significant contribution to Nepal's growing entrepreneurial landscape.
Expressing gratitude to the Foreign Ministry for his appointment as Honorary Consul, Upadhyaya vowed to do his level best to strengthen ties between Nepal and Uganda.
"I am fully committed to this role," said Upadhyaya, "I will leave no stone unturned to elevate bilateral relations to a new height during my tenure as Honorary Consul."
With Upadhyaya's appointment as the Honorary Consul, bilateral cooperation between Nepal and Uganda is expected to deepen in trade, tourism, investment, and cultural exchange.
