Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the Chairman of the CPN (UML), has said that the issue of renewal of the membership of former President Bidya Devi Bhandari is not the agenda for discussions at the Statute General Convention.

Addressing the inaugural session of the General Convention, Oli said that the questions are not related to the General Convention, targeting the membership issue of Bidya Bhandari.

"These questions are not related to the Statute General Convention. Those questions are the subject of committee-level discussions elsewhere," Oli said, targeting the issue of Bidya, "The Secretariat, the Standing Committee, the Politburo will discuss it. We will take the Statute General Convention forward as the Statue General Convention. We will present ourselves at this General Convention by focusing on the subject."

Oli said that the document will be discussed on Saturday and all the programs will be finalized on Sunday.
