The Sanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states have held the 24th meeting of the ministers of economic affairs and trade in Russia on Saturday.
The leaders, in the meeting held at Vladivostok in Russia, discussed issues related to regional economic cooperation and integration and agreed to strengthen them.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of China, the leaders in the meeting reaffirmed their commitment to a multilateral trading system and closer cooperation on global supply chains.
The meeting adopted an implementation plan for the SCO's creative economies cooperation framework, laying the groundwork for deeper regional economic collaboration and setting the agenda for the upcoming Council of Heads of Government meeting.
According to the Global Times, participants praised the SCO Summit's outcomes and agreed to expand regional trade, investment, services, e-commerce, and overall cooperation.
Earlier, the SCO Summit had been held at Tianjin in China from August 31 to September 1.
