Ramsahay Prasad Yadav elected JSP PP leader

Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has been elected as the leader of the parliamentary party (PP) of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP). He was unanimously elected the JSP PP leader.

The secretariat of JSP Chair Upendra Yadav said only Yadav's nomination was registered for PP leader and hence, he was elected unopposed.

Yadav was elected from Bara constituency 2.

Chair Yadav took the initiative to make Yadav the party's PP leader.

JSP Federal Council Chair Ashok Rai had also laid his claim to PP leader but he backed out at the last moment.

The JSP has 12 MPs in the House of Representatives.
