The meeting between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has concluded at Khumaltar, in Lalitpur.

The two leaders held two-hour long meeting. In the meeting, they discussed matters pertaining to the new government.

One of PM Prachanda's private secretaries Ramesh Malla said the two leaders discussed the policies and programs of the government.

"They discussed what kind of policies should the government formulate and the ways to make the government effective," Malla said.

"They also talked about the implementation aspect of the decisions made in the first meeting of the Council of Ministers."

Malla said that talks between the two leaders would continue again in Baluwatar on Thursday.

"They will make more decisions after tomorrow's discussion. Talks were more focused on running the government instead of power sharing and the alliance," he added.

According to Malla, cabinet expansion did not figure much in the talks.
