Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has congratulated new Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
In a congratulatory message to Prachanda, Hasina wrote, "I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your election as the Prime Minister of Nepal, which reflects the trust and confidence reposed in your able and visionary leadership by the people of Nepal."
The message added, "I believe your long experience will lead Nepal to an upper plateau of prosperity. I look forward to working closely with you to strengthen our multifaceted relationship for the mutual benefit of the two people."
The Bangladeshi Prime Minister also invited Prime Minister Prachanda to visit Bangladesh at a convenient time.
She also wished him a very happy new year in advance.
