Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is holding a meeting with CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the PM's official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu, this (Friday morning).
Oli's secretariat confirmed that Oli has reached Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister Prachanda.
The UML chair had been in Baluwatar earlier on Thursday as well to attend a meeting of the new ruling coalition.
The two leaders are intensifying discussion on issues of the government, including gradually giving full shape to the cabinet.
CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Prachanda became the Prime Minister with the support of the UML on Sunday.
Following Thursday's alliance meeting, a high-level mechanism has been formed under the leadership of Oli to forward works of the alliance and the government.
Discussion continues between the top leaders of the colaition regarding cabinet expansion and contemporary politics.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Prachanda has indicated that he would expand the cabinet only after taking the vote of confidence. There are eight members in the cabinet, currently.
