A person died while two others sustained injuries at Hapani of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-2 in Chitwan district on Tuesday evening.
Rabindra Adhikari, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Chitwan informed that it was Bir Bahadur Praja, 80, losing life in the incident, while injured ones are Karna Bahadur Praja and Bishnu Praja.
All of them are from Hapani. The jeep was heading to Hapani from Phisling. The injured persons have been sent to Bharatpur for treatment.
There were four persons including driver in the jeep. Jeep driver Bikash Praja has been taken under control.
