Maoist Center Sudurpaschim Province In-charge Bhatta elected PP leader

CPN (Maoist Center) Sudurpaschim Province In-charge Khagraj Bhatta has been elected as the party's parliamentary party (PP) leader.

Elected from Dadeldhura to the House of Representatives, he was unanimously elected as Maoist Center PP leader in the Sudurpaschim Province Assembly.

MP Om Bikram Bhat said Bhatta was elected by a meeting of Maoist Center's provincial lawmakers on Sunday.

There are 11 MPs of the Maoist Center in the Sudurpaschim Province Assembly.

The Maoist Center, as the largest party in the UML-led coalition, also claimed the post of Chief Minister.

MP Bhat informed that the meeting took the decision to take the initiative to form a government led by the Maoist Center.
