CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the party would move ahead by keeping the interest of the nation and the people at the center.

In his address to the party’s third politburo meeting kicked off in Kathmandu from today, the leader said the party would make a review of the country’s latest political developments and move ahead by keeping the nation and people in centre.

According to him, the party does not follow the culture of the politics of accusation and counter-accusations.

“We assessed ourselves that what we did, we did right and are ready to go ahead thorough objective evaluation of the scenario,” he added.

The former Prime Minister, who decided to form the party by splitting with the CPN (UML), said the move was prompted by the decision of then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who now heads the UML, to dissolve the House twice and his team’s failure to sort out the intra-party issues.

He urged the party cadres and leaders to internalize such ‘facts’ accordingly.

Saying that he was ready to make corrections if any mistake, he urged one and all not to try to ignore the mistake and perceive one-self hundred percent right.

The meeting is expected to review the recent elections to the House of Representatives and the Province Assembly, discussing about the party’s future policy and programmes, according to the party source.
