Lekhak nominated NC Chief Whip

Ramesh Lekhak has been nominated the Chief Whip of Nepali Congress (NC).

Party President and parliamentary leader Sher Bahadur Deuba nominated him to the post as per the NC parliamentary party’s statute, according to NC parliamentary party leader’s private secretary Keshab Raj Joshi.

Lekhak was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Kanchanpur constituency 3.

In the parliament's last term, Bal Krishna Khand was the NC Chief Whip.
