The Nepali Congress (NC) is set to hold a press conference today (Wednesday) to make public its views after its exit from power.
The NC is holding a press conference for the first time after leaving the government since the five-party alliance dismantled and a new seven-party alliance was formed led by the CPN (UML).
According to NC Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, Spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat will respond to press queries at the party office in Sanepa at 3 pm today.
Despite emerging as the largest party with 89 seats in the House of Representatives, the NC is forced to stay in the opposition due to the break up of the then alliance.
NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba has been facing criticism within the party for not being able to save the alliance and having to exit the government.
