Former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has asserted that they would not let the efforts of some external elements to topple the incumbent government.
The government would move ahead by maintaining cordial and mutual relations with neighbouring countries. "We do not want foreign interference," he said at an orientation program organized by the party's Department of Parliamentary Affairs to orient the participants about parliamentary practices today.
He claimed that the incumbent government formed in support of his party would be successful.
Oli assured that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will obtain vote of confidence in the parliament on January 10.
"The incumbent government would be made successful in political, policy-making and practice. We would like to make this government successful," the septuagenarian leader said, adding that they will properly guide the government.
He wished the incumbent government functioned actively by adopting the right policies, did not involve in corruption and ensured good-governance and development in the country.
Chairperson Oli directed lawmakers to enter the parliament building timely on the day when PM Dahal is scheduled to take the vote of confidence.
He also urged lawmakers to raise their voice against problems facing people as they he said they were elected for the same.
