Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal is to lend support to the government in its bid to gain vote of confidence.

JSP Spokesperson Manish Suman informed that JSP has decided to give its vote of confidence to the government after the minimum common program draft prepared by the taskforce of the ruling coalition parties included the agendas related to citizenship and good governance.

Issuing a press release today, JSP said it has agreed to lend support to the government since the draft of the minimum common program has incorporated two conditional points the JSP has put forth to participate in the government.

The minimum common program draft prepared by the taskforce was handed over to the top leaders of the ruling parties on Saturday.

JSP would formally decide the agenda of giving vote of confidence to the government on Sunday, spokesperson Suman informed.
