Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has asked for the vote of confidence from the members of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament.

PM Dahal appealed for the vote of confidence at the Parliament meeting that started at 1 pm today.

After giving a long explanation, the executive head urged for the confidence vote. Mr. Prachanda presented the prospective approach and the documentation of the past shortcomings in his request for a vote of confidence.

He has expressed commitment to promote social security, increase employment rate, establishment of the rule of law, making revenue taxpayer-friendly, among others.

According to Prachanda, he is addressing the crowd from the same spirit with which he began the people's struggle.

"I am standing in this rostrum with the same passion and determination I had when I started the revolution in the past, albeit it seemed like I was lost in the middle," Prachanda said.

"I am not standing here just to write the name of the Prime Minister for the third time or to hang the photo of another term in the Singha Darbar.

I can tell you that I will always be in the Parliament, ready to offer information and a report on my accomplishments."
