Dad and son killed in tipper-hit mishap

Two people have died after a tipper hit their motorcycle. The deceased are 35-year-old Manoj Nepali, a resident of Lamahi Municipality-5, and his five-year-old son, Meenraj Nepali, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Homraj Parajuli, Chief of the Tulsipur Area Police Office.

Amrita Nepali, 34, the wife of the deceased, was injured in the same incident. A tipper with registration number Ra 1 Kha 2192 hit a motorcycle with registration number Ra 4 Pa 3390, travelling in the opposite direction, at 6:00 am today, resulting in severe injuries to both individuals, who later died during treatment at Teaching Hospital Kohalpur.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Parajuli, the injured Amrita is being treated at the same hospital. The tipper driver has been taken into custody and an investigation is underway.
