Five newly appointed ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy with the reformation of the Council of Ministers of the Lumbini Province government.
Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Maga administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed ministers on Monday. The Council of Ministers was reformed by Province Chief Magar in accordance with Clause 9 of Article 168 of the Constitution of Nepal on the recommendation of Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya.

Four ministers from CPN-UML and one from Janata Samajwadi Party have become ministers in the reorganized Council of Ministers. The newly appointed ministers Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary took the oath as the Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, Dilli Raj Bhusal, as the Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Ramji Prasad Ghimire (Minister for Health), Ratna Bahadur Khatri (Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, and Bhandari Lal Ahir took the oath as the Minister for Internal Affairs and Law.
Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya, former Chief Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara, Speaker Tularam Gharti Magar, Deputy Speaker Menuka Khand KC, and others were present at the oath-taking ceremony.
