Demonstrations have gained ground in the Kathmandu Valley demanding justice for Nakunni Dhobi and Nirmala Kurmi allegedly killed in a domestic violence.

Police have arrested half a dozen people including Rubi Khan while they were staging protests in front of the District Administration Office, Babarmahal, this afternoon.

They have been kept in the police custody after arrest, said Kathmandu District Police Range.

A group of demonstrators including Khan has been upping the ante for the justice of Dhobi and Kurmi who, according to Khan, were killed in cahoots with their relatives in Banke.
