NAC to make ticket sales effective

Nepal Airlines Corporation NAC is going to make ticket sales system management effective.

For this purpose, the Corporation has formed a working group to solve the problem within 15 days in discussion with Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Natta). 

Corporation spokesperson Archana Khadka informed that a working group has been formed to increase the ticket sales of the corporation and bring in more foreign tourists.

Janakraj Kalakheti, Commercial Director of the Corporation, Umesh Paudel, Director of Finance Department, Anil Ghimire, Director of General Services and Asset Management, and Santosh Pandey, Deputy Director of Commercial Department, are in the eight-member working group. Similarly, senior vice president Pramod Dahal, general secretary Kumarmani Thapalia, treasurer Rajkumar Devkota and working committee member Savala Bhandari have been on behalf of Natta.

There was a discussion between the high officials of both the organizations about 'gross fare', managing the sale of tickets in a fair and simplified manner, 'group fare', 'void' tickets and making 'charge flights' effective. 

The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kiranti, during the inspection of the corporation's headquarters on January 23, gave necessary instructions and urged to manage the online tickets within amonth by making the services of the corporation slower and more efficient. 

According to Khadka, spokesperson of the corporation, online ticketing has already been managed internally. 

International card holders can also buy tickets through the corporation's website. 

According to the corporation, it will be managed until the mid of February so that tickets can be bought through local wallet
