Nepse plunges 22.12 points

Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has nosedived by 22.12 points to settle at 2094.54 on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

The share value of 19 companies increased while that of 194 companies decreased, according to the Nepse.

The benchmark index witnessed a transaction of 2 billion rupees as the 5.8 million units of shares of 257 companies were sold out.

Despite steep fall in the share prices, shareholders of Adarsha Microfinance made a profit of 10 percent while the others lost their share value by 5.80 percent.

Standard Charted Bank made the highest transactions of 100 million rupees today.
