Orientation to MPs of eight party-alliance today

An orientation program is being held today for federal members of parliament (MPs) of the ruling eight-party coalition.

Aiming at the presidential election, the eight-party alliance is going to hold an orientation program on Thursday.

Members of the National Assembly and the House of Representatives have been invited to the event to be held at a banquet in Tinkune at 1 pm.

Top leaders of eight parties will address the program.

The orientation program has already been fixed targeting the presidential election to be held on March 9.

It has also been decided to hold a large meeting of all the federal and provincial parliamentarians on March 8 and the meeting will be addressed by the top leaders of eight parties.

Senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel is the common candidate from the eight-party alliance in the presidential election. CPN (UML) has appointed the vice-president Subas Chandra Nembang.
