Nepali Congress central working committee (CWC) member Dr. Shashanka Koirala has said that this eight-party alliance will last for a long time.
“This alliance will go a long way. We have gathered here for orientation. The orientation is necessary for new lawmakers. There is no system of imposing whip,” said Koirala.
He said the cabinet will be expanded only after the presidential elections. The same alliance will continue even after March 9, said he.
He further said that Madhav Nepal will become the Prime Minister after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ resigns, as per the agreement.
“The same alliance will continue. Sher Bahadur Deuba will become the prime minister after two years. Madhav Nepal, I believe, will take charge as the prime minister for one year under this alliance,” said Koirala.
