Papua New Guinea (PNG) won the toss and elected to bat against Nepal in the ODI tri-series of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 on Friday.
The match which started at 11:45 am (according to the Nepali time) is underway at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Nepal defeated PNG by four wickets in the match on Monday and lost to home team UAE by 68 runs in the second match yesterday.
Of the total eight matches, Nepal have to win all the remaining six matches to qualify for ICC World Cup and four games to defend the ODI status.
Nepal are in the sixth position with 28 points from 15 wins and 13 losses out of 30 matches.
Similarly, PNG are at the bottom with seven points from three wins and 26 losses out of 30 matches.
