Nepal are batting against Papua New Guinea in a match under a tri-series of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League-2.
The match is underway at the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.
Nepal have been invited to bat first after losing the toss.
It requires for Nepal to win all remaining four matches under the series to remain within top three positions under the League.
Similarly, Nepal have to win two matches to retain its ODI status.
Out of the total 36 matches under the League, Nepal played 32 so far securing 32 points. They have been placed in the fifth position.
